"Judo Jedi" Mark Stan. began his career wrestling at the age of 13. An accomplished wrestler in both high school and college, Mark easily transitioned into the grappling sports of Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is an active competitor in Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA; and has won state, national, and international titles. He is ranked as one of America's Top Submission Grapplers; currently #1 in the US by NAGA. Earning his rank under Tom Dalvano and World Masters Champion John Lucas; and a ranking Gracie Jiu-Jitsu fighter under childhood friend UFC Veteran Matt Serra, Sensei Mark Staniszewski brings years of expertise to the dojo.

Mike is a master grappler who began his career wrestling at the age of 8. An accomplished wrestler in both high school and college, Sensei Mike excelled in the sport of Judo earning numerous medals in regional tournaments. A judo black belt under Thomas Dalvano, Mike also holds rank in japanese jiu-jitsu. As well as bringing decades of technical expertise to the dojo, Sensei Mike is a member of the Combat Judo/Serra BJJ competition team and is co-judo coach for the Serra BJJ Academy.
Mike is "the most annoying guy ever" ..............just spend a little time with him and it is easy to see why.

Rich Is a Graduate of the Budo Specialization Course at Kokusai Budo Daigaku (International Budo University) in Katsuura City, Japan. Earning a Black Belt under the Yoichiro Matsumura 8th Dan (NYAC) via Kokushikan University. Sensei Scholl has over Twenty (20) years of Judo and Mixed Martial Arts Training (Muay Thai, Arnis Balite, Kali, BJJ). Sensei Scholl has trained under the supervision of such instructors as World Champion Katsuhiko Kashiwazaki (IBU), World Champion and Olympic Medalist Tadanori Koshino (IBU), Ryuji Bunasawa 7th Dan (IBU), Toshikazu Okada 6th Dan (Kodokan), George Pasiuk 6th Dan (NYAC) as well as several Olympic and Judo Champions both here in the United States and abroad. Sensei Scholl brings Traditional Japanese teaching methods into this Modern Judo / MMA setting. Rich is an official judo instuctor for the Combat Judo Academy & Serra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy.

Steve is a veteran BJJ purple belt under childhood friend Matt Serra. He comes to the dojo with years of technical expertise and is a valuable asset to the school. Formally known as "angry steve", we are "happy" to see he has changed.
Ken Meadows
(Judo, Wrestling)
Ken is a judo black belt with decades of experience in both Judo and wrestling . He is a 2008 USA Judo National medalist and several time Police/Fire World Games international gold medalist. He rivals Sensei Arcuri as "the most annoying guy ever" and he has a magic thumb!
Maria Didio Is a Combat Judo Academy brown belt under Sensei Mark Staniszewski and Mike Arcuri has over a decade of experience in Judo. She has competed in several tournaments winning 1st Place in the Liberty Bell Judo Challenge, Am-Can Judo International and Silver Medal at the 2007 Empire State Games . She appeared in the August edition of the Farmingdale Observer CLICK HERE. Maria has been studying the Martial Arts for over 24 years and holds black belts in Karate and Japanese Jujitsu. "Maria is one tough chick and she's damn nice too"
